Guy has 30 years’ experience of the financial markets.
Prior to joining Stanhope, Guy ran the London operation of Unigestion Family Investment Office from 2001 to 2010.He specialises in advising families and trusts on the design and implementation of investment policy. From 1996 to 2001 Guy headed the client advisory practices of Guinness Mahon and Granville Baird.
Guy chairs the Wealth Management Forum, a group of family office practitioners, and presents annually The Family Balance Sheet Event in London, covering all the major UK asset classes.
Guy qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) before spending ten years in corporate finance. He was subsequently chief executive of Linguaphone Group plc, an international language publisher, before returning to investment markets.
He graduated with an MA in History from Oxford University.
